                <title><![CDATA[Lilia Bozhinova – tribal fusion and oriental dance]]></title>

                <description><![CDATA[<p>Lilia fell in love with dancing probably so long ago, she can't even remember. During the years, many genres of dance have caught her attention - Bulgarian folklore dances, ballroom dances, k-pop, vogue, hip-hop, oriental dance, and tribal fusion. She has been studying various oriental styles with Boriana Dimitrova for over 6 years as of now. In her tribal fusion style, Lilia combines a strong oriental base with elements of popping, hip-hop, contemporary, while also using music from any genre. <br><br>Lilia has attended workshops and seminars in Bulgaria,Greece and Cyprus by Eva Handzhikristou (Greece), Iza Logonovich (Poland), Kira Lebedeva (Ukraine), Polina Shandarina (Russia), Alexandra Zervou (Greece), Dimitra Diamanti (Greece), Kristina Derkach (Ukraine), Ashley Lopez (USA), Mercedes Nieto (Hungary), Olesia Baglai (Russia), Shahrazad (USA), Joline Andrade (Brazil), etc.   <br><br>She has participated in many dance spectacles and shows - oriental dance spectacle "Mirage", dance spectacle "A Tale of 1001 Nights", first place winner with Sarab Oriental Dance at the 11th festival "Muzite" in Sozopol, Bulgaria. Participant in the "A Scent of the Orient" show in 2017 Vratza, Bulgaria. Had a leading role in the "Moonlight" - light and dance spectacle in 2018. Part of "The Orientalist" project by the photographer Pedro Bonato de Castro. Has appeared in music videos, such as "Allaxa" by Nikos Vertis. She also has a YouTube channel with her solo performances.</p>]]></description>

                <title><![CDATA[Iveta Stanislavova – oriental dance]]></title>

                <description><![CDATA[<p>Iveta's first encounter with oriental dance was in one of Boriana's classes. Thanks to her and Sarab Oriental Dance, she was able to study the dance, his history, and origin - all of which made her fall in love with the oriental world. During the years, she has attended seminars by famous dancers from Egypt, Ukraine, Russia, Canada. With all that knowledge, she developed her own style that combines classical and modern styles in oriental dance. Her instructor training was held by Boriana Dimitrova and she follows a well-structured teaching method.  </p><p><br>Iveta has danced since childhood. In primary school, her dance passions were acrobatic rock-n-roll, as well as 3 years of Bulgarian folklore dances. In high school, hip-hop piked her interest and that continues in present-day as well. She has danced also cabaret style on high heels. </p><p><br>She has participated in many dance spectacles - oriental dance spectacle "Mirage", dance spectacle "A Tale of 1001 Nights", "A Scent of the Orient" show in 2017 Vratza, Bulgaria. Along with Sarab group for 3 consecutive years, she was a participant at the international festival "Muzite" in Sozopol, Bulgaria. Iveta had a lead solo role in the light and dance spectacle by Boriana Dimitrova - "Moonlight". She was part of the "Freud - theory of love" theater and dance spectacle.</p>]]></description>

                <title><![CDATA[Boriana Dimitrova - teacher, choreographer, founder of Sarab Oriental Dance]]></title>

                <description><![CDATA[<p>Boriana has had a fascination with dance from a young age when she started attending ballet classes. It was only natural that when she discovered oriental dance, Boriana immediately fell in love with the style! She traveled to Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco to explore the Arabic culture firsthand. Back in Sofia, she has held classes in several dance studios, has been a guest in TV programs, shows, and performances. Boriana is the main teacher, choreographer, and founder of Sarab Oriental Dance - her dance school. Her students vary from beginners to intermediate and advanced, and also professionals. Boriana has also held teacher courses, three of her students are now professionally trained teachers in Sarab - Iveta, Lilia, and Eva. <br><br>Boriana has studied with many masters of the oriental dance in various styles - classical raks sharki, folklore, and also modern styles of belly dance. She has studied with the worldwide famous Sandra Danse and has passed her teacher course in Nice, France. Some of her teachers include Gamal Seif (Egypt), Randa Kamel (Egypt), Khaled Mahmoud (Egypt), Mohammed Kazafi (Egypt), Mahdy Emara (Egypt), Camelia (Egypt), Mayudi (Morroco), Mercedes Nieto (Hungary), Leila (Serbia), Elena Ramazanova (Russia), Margarita Darina (Russia), Prince Kayammer (Greece), Eva Handzikristou (Greece), Izida (Germany), Marta Korzun (Ukraine), Selma Ben (France), Illan Riviere (France), etc. <br><br>Boriana has participated in prestigious international competitions for professional oriental dancers and has won prizes in many of them - silver medal in the professional category of both Orient el Hob 2016 and 2017, bronze medal in the same category from Oriental Passion Festival 2017 in Athens, Greece, gold medal with Sarab in the group category of Layali Bulgaria in 2016, gold medal during Oriental Dance Weekend Nur 2017 in Sofia, bronze medal in the professional category of Yalla Raqs Italy 2017. <br><br>Apart from her dance career, Boriana has also graduated as a doctor. She has a different perspective on how the dance affects the body, the positive effects on physical and mental health, proper nutrition, and the required physical activity. She knows the mechanics of movements and how they need to be performed safely, she also takes into consideration the combination of dance with various health conditions such as discopathy, pregnancy, and others.</p><p><strong>Creative activities:</strong></p><ul><li>Founder of Sarab Oriental Dance School. <br></li><li>Many successful performances on local and international stages, show, and performances. <br></li><li>Winner of many prizes from prestigious international competitions for professional oriental dancers in Europe. <br></li><li>Workshops and seminars about oriental dance in Bulgaria and abroad. In Koln, Germany 2016 Boriana was invited by Izida to teach a seminar on oriental dance. Teacher and judge in the professional show category during Cairo By Night Festival in Serres, Greece 2019, and during Hezz Ya Wezz 2019 in Sofia, Bulgaria as well. <br></li><li>Her own creative projects – Oriental dance spectacle "Mirage" alongside with Semir Alkadi (14.02.2015), Fire Fusion Project alongside with “Palyachi” (first place winner in the category "Unusual forms" at the festival Muzite in Sozopol, Bulgaria 2015), the concert "Oriental Magic" in Sofia (20.12.2015); dance spectacle "Oriental Dreams" (first place winner in the category "Unusual forms" at the festival Muzite in Sozopol, Bulgaria 2016). Dance spectacle "A Tale of 1001 Nights" in 2017 with over 40 performers on stage. Light and dance spectacle "Moonlight" in 2018. <br></li><li>TV show appearances – mentor in the show "I az go moga" on NOVA TV, “Na kafe" on NOVA TV, "Marmalad" on BTV, “Neshtotarsachi” on BNT2, TV Evropa, Bulgaria on air, semi-finalist on "Bulgaria Got Talent" on BTV. <br></li><li>Part of “The Orientalist” project by the photographer Pedro Bonato de Castro. <br></li><li>Organizer of many yearly oriental parties and events. <br></li><li>Music video appearances in local and international projects.
